The new Bowie COVID-19 Business Recovery Assistance program kicks off in January 2021 with eight months of technical assistance programs and online resources to help Bowie businesses meet the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, build resilience and accelerate their post COVID-19 economic recovery.

    ABOUT THE PROGRAM

    The Online Bowie Business Recovery Program

    The Bowie Business Recovery Assistance Program is a collaboration between the Bowie Business Innovation Center business acceleration hub and the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce, funded by the City of Bowie. Our program includes:

    1-on-1 Open Door Sessions

    One-on-One Open Door Sessions for technical assistance (business loans, accounting, legal, etc.)  which connects Bowie companies with subject matter business professionals through scheduled telephone conversations to address a company’s specific business questions.

    Business Resilience Workshops

    Business Resilience Workshops focused on new approaches to business activities being shaped by the pandemic to accelerate post-pandemic business recovery for Bowie businesses (digital marketing, e-commerce and cyber security, etc.). Presentations are archived and available for future review.

    Online Business Resource Center

    Access to online Business Recovery Resource Center for Bowie businesses with practical business information for business recovery, coordinated by the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce.

    Bowie CEO Pivot Accelerator

    A six-week training and mentoring program in Spring 2021, specifically for Bowie CEO’s developing new strategies to pivot their post pandemic business activity.
